Mark,
There is an "Expression 94" series. Made in 1994. The camera back shows
the name Expression 94. This series is part of the first model 2.8 GX.
It has the traditional Synchro-Compur shutter.
Then there is an "Expression" series. Made from Mid 1995 - end of 1996.
The camera back shoes the name Expression. This series is part of the
second model 2.8 GX. It has a Copal shutter. The sequence of shutter
times and apertures is opposite to any earlier model. This can be
unpleasant when using earlier models too.
The shutter release is a bit stiffer on all 2.8 GX models. That does
not improve in time. The construction is different. The release has to
operate the light-meter switch too.
Kind regards,
Ferdi Stutterheim,
