Capa, used Leicas until November 1937,then he started useing Contax .  But 
always he had a Rollei.  When LIFE Magazine started the Rollei was the camera of 
first use.  And the 35mm was to be used when the photo couldn't be done with 
the Rollei.  The lab was just learning how to handel 35mm film.  

When Capa was killed he had a Contax with B&W and a Nikon with Color.  Nikon 
gave him 5 cameras and 13 lenses to use on a story in Japan for a new 
magazine. He took a Nikon with him to Indo-China.
