Jerry,

I don't know about the half moon, but the switch was a retrofit option
for those TLRs made earlier than 1965 when 220 was introduced.
I have 3 2.8Es with that little switch.  

Why not ask Harry about this half moon since he worked for Rollei during
that era.

Forget about it. TTBOMK, the straphanger conversion to 12/24
was never a factory original equipment item.

But should you buy it, I will be glad to supply you with a left hand
side, half moon strap hanger to match.
