[Rollei] still OT: My New Fountain Pen

Which reminds me of my now-lost Montblanc pen.

My now-lost fiance bought it for me as an engagement present.  She got it
from F.P.H., the Fountain Pen Hospital, in lower Manhattan.  I asked them
whether I needed to use Montblanc ink or whether I could use any other ink,
such as Shaeffer.  They said the Montblanc ink was just a waste of money, I
should use lesser brand ink.

When the pen clogged and needed repair, I sent it to F.P.H.  They said the
problem was I hadn't used Montblanc ink, which contains special cleansers,
kind of like automotive gasoline.  Sheesh!

BTW, I think Pelikan pens also require special ink.
