I AM a Hobbyist.

I take pictures exclusively for my own pleasure.

No one tells me what to do, or criticizes me for doing it.

I've been a 'professional', thank you. A combat photog 
for the US Army, a 1st Class Petty Officer/photographers 
mate(PHG1)in the USN, a newspaper photographer, a free-
lance magazine guy with credits that included BH&G and
magazine covers, and I once owned an industrial photography 
studio. This is a lot more personally rewarding.

Why in the world is she 'dissing' hobbyists?
