His work is criticized for being overly dramatic grandiose changes in
the weather. 
There is nothing pretty about it the bulk of Adam's work. I cant think
of a "pretty" shot.
I don't think black and white photography lends itself well to making
pretty pictures.
I think you need color for that. You'll get lots of "pretty".
