But have any of you ever tried to mount/adapt a Hasselblad NC2 45 degree
prism finder to on a Rollei 2.8 F...If so, does it work, and how
difficult is it to do?

This is very much possible. After all, new lens formulas are often
created to enlarge manufacturing tolerances while getting the same
quality. You can steer the development a new optic to better quality or
larger tolerances, but usually not both.
