There was a clamp-on large knob made for the Rolleiflex and Rolleicord
with the older small size knob. The two versions were available with scales
running in opposite directions to match the position of the knob on the
camera. They fasten with a sort of spring-loaded collet. They fit with
enough clearance to use them with the case on the camera.
It appears from Prochnow's book that the T has a larger knob similar to
the knob on E and F models without lightmeters.
Rolleiflex 2.8C, D, and later, and 3.5B and later have large knobs. It
appears that larger knobs were used on the Rolleicord beginning with the
Model V.
