Dear Mr. Franklin,
The Compur-shutter was used up to 1995. From 1995 to 2002 we used
Seiko-shutter. The newest cameras
that will produced now and in future will get the Copal-shutter.

Hi,

What is the shutter history of the GX?  I understand it first came with a
Compur shutter, from introduction in 1987 to sometime in the mid-late 90's,
and then was replaced with a Seiko/Copal shutter.  What was the year the
Compur stopped being used?
