SL66 or SLX? The short answer:
For commercial studio, product illustration, etc, SL66 for its bellows and
tilts.
For portraits and weddings, the SLX for its motorized wind, quick film
change, and high synch speed.
On SLX reliability: I owned an early example, and the body was fine, though
the proprietary battery is a nuisance. But I had problems with the "linear
motor" shutter in more than one lens. If I had found a technician who was
familiar with the camera, my problems might have been solved, but as I
said, it was an early example.
