It seems strange for you to be asking me about any
Rollei, as I consider you as the pre-eminent authority.
The 9x9 was just like the Old Standard R'flex. Red
window on back to start film (whenever I could find
122 film in 1945/6). No bayonets at all (though the
Canadian ex-GI left a rifle bayonet in the room he
rented from my parents). The camera did not have
a take-up spool, so I had to find TWO rolls of 122
to start with. Eventually I used cut up strips of aero
film which was common on the surplus market.
Developement was difficult as there were no tanks
that size. I had to take the films to the localdrug store
who sent them for developement. I enlarged them
on a friends 4x5 Solar enlarger..
