If your meters are off a stop, adjust the filter factor dial instead ... it
is a lot easier than adjusting the lever on the back of the light meter.

If the meters are off a stop in the overexposing direction, then you will
have to adjust the lever on the back of the light meter. Make note thought
that many selenium meters no longer have a linear response to light and
adjusting for one level of light will mean that another level of light will
be off. 

Using a hand held light meter is the best solution as the meters in F
series Rolleis are at least 20 years old and some are over 40 years.
