[Rollei] Binocular focusing aid

If anyone has and uses a Rolleiflex leather binocular focusing hood, what do you think about it?

I've got one, and I use it on occasion. Some drawbacks: I've noticed in general that the older a
person is, the more difficult it is to make the bino images on the ground glass converge. Also, half
of the split-image feature blacks out, so the 2x enlargement of the image is, for those who like
using a split-image, wasted. 

On the plus site, it makes for a bright image on the ground glass when I'm in outdoor light. And for
me, the image on the ground glass has an almost 3-D look. Also, it garners a lot of comments when
people see me using it.
