The hallmarks of the E2 ARE the presence of the removable WLF and the
absence of the Rolleikin counter knob.  According to HPBB (Herr Prochnow's
Black Book) the E2 and E3 models were produced concurrently with the F
models which never had the Rolleikin counter as standard features.  Probably
a production consistency decision.  Curiously, there was no such thing as a
3.5E.  At the time the 3.5 nomenclature was not synchronized with the 2.8
models so the feature comparable 3.5 was the 3.5C.  Things were made
consistent in the E2, E3 and F series.
