Actually, the 2000F is great for hand held shooting when
doing verticals. This was my reason for buying into the
system. Hold the camera sideways for verticals with the
viewfinder eyepiece at the top and it fits your hands
nicely.
The only SLR better for verticals is the Olympus Pen F
series.
