Interesting, but probably not right since old timers at Rollei always
said
they got the design from Zeiss-Ikon.  

I do accept the part about the shutter being an original Rollei
design, though.

Shutters may have been built at some point by Copal or Seiko, but
original ones
were built by Rollei, both at Braunschweig and in Singapore.
