10 rolls is likely about a year's worth of 6x6 format for me, given that 
so far I'm shooting about 1 roll a month with these cameras. I think I 
can judge the improvement a little quicker than that.

Presuming the focus calibration is correct, I can see immediately how 
well the focus screen improves my ability to use the camera. Chance be 
had, I did shoot one roll of film through my Maxwellized 3.5MX ... it 
looks just as good as the last roll did before having the screen 
installed and the shutter cleaned. But I can now see easily and clearly 
where before focusing took a lot more effort and the camera was not so 
much fun to use.
