[Rollei] Slightly Off topic: Wish list - a digital back for the TLR

Hello All;

Having lurked for a while to get a feel for the list, I'll offer this
thought experiment as my first public posting:

Previously, John posted:

Now wouldn't it be great of someone would come out with a digital back to
fit to the Rollei TLR? You'd have continuous view of the scene without the
need for the additional expense of an LCD display (complements of the
seperate viewfinder, obviously), and the physical layout/format of the TLR
is ideal - the disk (PCMCIA card, or whatever memory card you would want to
use) could be on the back, such that it would add perhaps 15-20mm to the
thickness of the camera, which would hardly affect the handling (as opposed
to the digital backs for 35mm cameras which are terrible to handle, in my
opinion), and the weight would hardly be noticeable.

A digital Rolliekin, if you will...

In as much as there are literally hundreds of thousands of Rollei TLR's out
there, and they have very nice lens (with nice boke :-) ) it would
certainly be a reasonably sized market.

Other thoughts?
