I didn't write the original question, but I can answer this one for myself.
 I don't do commercial work, but I do sell some photos, and I try to keep a
consistent look to my portfolio.  I use one color film (except for family
snaps) which I always shoot in 120 and one black and white film for 120 and
a different one in 35mm.  Once in a while, I break this rule and shoot some
infrared.  But it does work quite well in acheiving the goal I stated above.

Now if I was a commercial shooter, I would definitely work differently.
