Schneider is a relatively small company capable of making outstanding
lenses.  Carl Zeiss is a much larger company capable of making outstanding
lenses.  Both make outstanding lenses.  Rollei has used the products of
both, far more Zeiss than Schneider but, still, a fair sample of both.

I have never found a dime's bit of difference between them.
