You're absolutely right to some extent. I'm not getting into comparison
arguments but the square format is ideal for cropping either horizontally
or vertically. And with all the 35mm I shot, relying on built in meters, I
went back to my trusty Weston Master 3. A good meter thats very reliable.
But, if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy an old Leica without a meter
and good Zeiss lenses.
There are very few 35mm Nikkors or Canons I found that matched the
accutance of Zeiss lenses. So I returned to the Rollei family.
