Jim
Get a light meter. I have heard people bragg abut how they can gage light
by eye and when I see their pictures it looks like it. I have a Sekonic
389 (199.00), a Sekonic which meansures reflected and incendent light
without changinging the dome (CDS for low light) and my trusty Weston
Master 3 (used for 49.00). A good light meter and an understnading of
metering techniques will give you superb results with your Rollei.
I use the OM series for 35mm and it produces great 35mm auality pics, but
I love the results of 6 by 6. It allows me to practice full frame
composition which the rectangle does not lend itself to. The Rolllei lens
is sharper than most 35mm cameras (Sorry to burst a lot of bubles in the
Nikon family). You will be amazed, but a little practice is needed to
master this camera. Let the real photogs stand up, right?
