Get a light meter.  I have heard people bragg abut how they can gage light
by eye and when I see their pictures it looks like it.  I have a Sekonic
389 (199.00), a Sekonic which meansures reflected and incendent light
without changinging the dome (CDS for low light) and my trusty Weston
Master 3 (used for 49.00).  A good light meter and an understnading of
metering techniques will give you superb results with your Rollei.  

I use the OM series for 35mm and it produces great 35mm auality pics, but
I love the results of 6 by 6.  It allows me to practice full frame
composition which the rectangle does not lend itself to.  The Rolllei lens
is sharper than most 35mm cameras (Sorry to burst a lot of bubles in the
Nikon family).  You will be amazed, but a little practice is needed to
master this camera.  Let the real photogs stand up, right?
